Fat girl, tight clothes.
It isn't like I have anything against larger people, it's just that when I see a size 24 chick sucking in and squeezing into a size 8 dress, you gotta draw the line. I mean, I just can't comprehend how they can NOT understand that cellulite bulging out of the tiny mini skirt isn't exactly flattering. Then there are those girls who magically "fit" into the teeniest low-rider pants with the seams desperatly clinging together, as you watch the thin thread getting smaller and smaller...man, I do give full credit for pulling off a Houdini and getting out of that one. Maybe some get turned on with cellulite, if so, they are a very small minority. So please, I really don't have anything against the larger people, but by covering up appropriatly would be a small step in making the world a more bearable place to live in.

Actually - I think it was McCalls that did a survey over twenty years ago (so thnigs may have chaned) and discovered something very strange. Women believe that most men like super skinny women and most men believed that most women liked men a bit heavy. They found however that most men preferred heavier women and most women preferred skinny men. Hollywood however has never caught on.

I am one of those who prefer heavier women and bulging out is sexy to me. However - wearing clothes to tight for you is not healthy.

My husband would like to see me add a few, but I'd like to think I'm a woman even if I'm 5'4 and 103 lbs.

On the other hand, when I met my husband he was 30+ pounds thinner. I like his additional weight gain.

I don't care whether the girl is fat or skinny, I hate low-riders because I hate seeing people's underwear everytime they bend or sit down. I've seen guys in my class stare at the girl in front of them because her thongs were showing. The worst thing...seing the butt crack . Low-riders should be banned.

I'm not implying that only thin people look good. Suki looks very cute and pretty from the show Gilmore Girls. It just irriates me when I see bigger people wearing smaller clothes that is not appropriate for their body shape. I read somewhere that porn is one of the largest money making industries, and America spends an estimate of $10 billion a yr on adult entertainment, and the majority of the people they show are thin but shapely women like Tyra Banks (not that she does porn). So obviously theres a want for thinner women. Bigger people arn't the only ones who has curves. Another thing thats catching on is weight loss by either pills or stuff that you just stick on yourself and then you expect to lose weight, so pretty much people want to lose weight w/out dieting or excercise because they feel a need to be thin because thats whats expected of them and what people find appealing. I'm not sure is those even work but the thing is, thats got to say something in regards of the preference between the slim people vs. the bigger people.

I agree, I get the impression fat people are less ashamed to show their midriff than skinnies.

Which is silly

Though I don't like anorexics either, balls of blubber are not sexy.

omg. there is this girl in my class who is *constantly* wearing shirts and skirts that are waaay to small for her. Im like Ewwwww. There should def. be some rules made against shit like that.
And about the whole guys liking curvier women thing. I read that in some magazine also. It upsets me because im all skin and bones, and girls are always like 'youre so skinny! i wish i was that skinny" Fuck'n A!, and now guys say they like fat!? what the fuck!? And thin girls usually dont have an ass or boobs. which guys obviously like.
this world is so unfair.

Hahaha, I agree with you This Is It. But there are some people who are thin and are totally flat as a board with absolutly no curves, and it's not the best thing either. But people can be slender and have curves at the same time, and theres a different variety of them too. Lets just put it this way, no matter what your body type is, wear clothes that fit and comliment your body accordingly.

I really don't think it's a big deal....it is how they carry themselves. I, myself would concider myself curvyish. I am 5'10 about 150 right now...but I do have a body. I wear low riders, but I cover my tummy cause it does need a little work. I wouldn't look bad showing my tummy...just would feel uncomfortable.

A few years ago I went to an all womens gym. There were many, many women wearing tight ass workout clothes of whom were at LEAST 6 sizes bigger than I. To me they looked good though. They were there losing the weight, they felt good, and it showed. It was all the attitude.

My mother is a BIG woman. She wears BIG women clothes, and it looks like SHIT!!! I would love to see her in something more hip, but she wouldn't feel comfortable because she isn't comfortable about her weight itself.

I say if it feels good wear it....

its all attitude. the women who wear more revealing clothing do it because they want some extra attention (for whatever reason). to me, no matter what a cry for attention is ugly.

women who are confident in what they are wearing look a lot better than those who arent... no matter the body type.

Yeh, Wyote, I know what you mean. Some people wear clothes and look great, but with some other people, the clothes wear them. You don't have to wear revealing clothes to feel good, but you shouldn't hide in your clothes too. It's all about attitude and balance in self esteem.

I believe it is self confidence that makes a person sexy. At least to me.

I agree. Clothes don't make the person. Some people can wear a garbage bag and look good in it. If you feel great about yourself, people are naturally drawn to that.
