Socartes And Jesus
As I understand it when one of Socrates's students ask him a question, he would rephrase the question to make the student think about the lesson another way. Also with Jesus he taught in parables and the listeners would picture in there mind the story.

Leonardo De Vinci would see the finished piece at the quarry before he created it. All these great men taught from their mind to the peoples mind. How can we today do the same? Thoughts please? plj

We still use the Socratic method. Some still utilize parables or analogies. Vision never goes out of style. Don't forget the layered meanings in our better literature. How do we do the same today? By doing the same.

It is always hard to improve on a thx response but I thought I might add.. this; never underestimate the value of show business..
I venture to say, both Socrates and Jesus understood that also.
