Do Women Ever Propose?

I always hear stories of how men know at first sight when they've met the woman they're going to marry and so they peruse her and eventually pop the question. But do women ever do this? Do women ever react with a voice inside their heads that says that's the man I'm going to be with and then go for it and propose to him? Or is the proposal thing all one sided?

It happens just not very often. They want to be equal to men(hence the 19th amendment) but then they can't do basic shit and propose to the man no matter how much they love them(supposedly). I think it is a bunch of crap and refuse to ever propose to any women. I will make her propose to me or we just won't get married. I applaud the few women who actually take the initative (sorry not sure how to spell that last word, for all you grammar nazis).
