What if we are all inanimate objects.. |
I live in a rural town outside of Boston, Massachusetts. There is a small mental hospital in my town with a patient living there with schizophrenia. He believes he is a glass of orange juice. I've heard that if you go near him he freaks out because he does not want you to tip him over because he is afraid of spilling. But what if WE are actually the glasses of the orange juice.. For example, what if I am actually a glass of orange juice on a table right now but I believe that I am a human being and inanimate objects like telephone poles, for instance, are actually real people. Basically this is all just a figment of my imagination and I am the one who is an inanimate object..

What you perceive as real is your reality. You construct from the start and just keep on adding on to it. Your reality is molded by your experiences and knowledge you gain. Even if you are a glass of orange juice, what is the difference if you perceive yourself to be a human being?

i can't wrap my head around this fantasy. how can you be a glass of orange juice and think? how can you be a glass of orange juice and see other objects? you have no eyes, you are juice, now, if you were a potato, that would be different haha
