Ive recently stumbled upon a a string of unrelated incidents regarding many celebrity's (manly with a rock and roll background and/or lifestyle.

here's a list of celebrities who have all dies at the tender age of 27.

so let me ask this question.
WHY 27?
perhaps the rock and roll lifestyle catches up on the body and on average takes its effects at the age 27.
but then why the murders? is it just coincident?

perhaps there is a retirement home on a island for the retired rockers...aged 27 and over...lol

The truth is you could do this with anything. I'm not sure if this counts as a post hoc assumption, but other factors definitely need to be considered. Saying they all died at 27 because they were rock stars is a bit vague.

If you look at all single mothers who died at the age of 30, there's a big list also. But so is there for all single mothers who died at 50, or 20.

As for the post hoc assumption thing...It basically says 'post hoc ergo propter hoc' or, 'After this, therefore because of this' it's a flaw in human logic. For example, I think this is the Wikipedia explanation or something, but if icecream sales and murder both increase, we may assume that ice cream sales cause murder. But when we add a third factor, heat, it's clear that heat is the cause of both Ice cream sales AND murder as it leads to aggression and the uncanny ability of making us want something cold...Like ice cream.

So to say there's something special about people dying at 27 because they're rock stars is in the same way a flaw of linking death to age...Instead of things like drug abuse, alcoholism, accidents etc

Actually, I may be getting confused with Spurious Correlation... But the same point stands that other factors need to be accounted for.
