What makes me me?

I wonder what time it was ten years ago. When I carved symbols into my hand.

I used to feel so passionate about life, so strongly, that I was comfortably able to burn my fist away with incense. To the initial O T .

The T was for Tania. That was the name of the most beautiful face ever.

Th O actually was the Ying Yang symbol.

Those scars symbolized the most important feelings about my life then.

Yet what was it that drove me to place the feelings in my head onto flesh?

What gave me the need to get such emotions and beliefs outside in a permanent display.
