Sensation Reference Point
This thought came to me as I was seeing the lights behind my eyes, which incidentally, seem to appear at certain fixed distances generally.

Basically, the object of discussion here, is whether there is a reference point , in terms of distance, that is compared with distance of the perception of different sensations.

It would be something you would use to help distinguish how far away something is, either by looking or listening, or other sensing...

It would help generate ideas of scale, size, as well as focusing...

When you think about it, does it seem natural that there may be such a reference point?
Plus, do you think it may correlate closely with things like the lights behind the eyes?
Also, have you heard of anything similar before? If so, where?
