The Ant and the Grasshopper

The ant works hard day in and day out for the summer. All in preparation for the winter. The grasshopper will play day in and day out enjoying the summer months.

When winter comes around, the ant has food but the grasshopper starves unless he travels.

To me, an American conservative is like the grasshopper, he only deals with issues as they come up with no regard for the future. And also blames others for his problems, ie what's happening here is the grasshopper cant get food in the ant colony, because of that damn ant. Should the grasshopper destroy the ants, he gets food for that winter, but what about next winter?

To be the American Liberal is more like the ant. Each working for the greater good for the colony. In winter they are set. They looked ahead, planned, worked together and sacrificed together. Each working to help each other, rather then personal gain.
