Moving on

I need to let go, I need to move on.
Why do you think this is picture perfect, when the plot is all wrong.
They say that "all good things must come to an end".
But I never thought that I would have to lose my best friend.
I don't want to lose him.
The light in my heart's going dim.
It's fading out, fades to black.
If he wants me, then why won't he come back?
Maybe Im not perfect, not in his eyes.
But how can you love a person who never tries?
I guess I can't blame him, I guess it's my fault.
So I'll take what's left of this broken heart and put it back in its vault.
