If the world could remain within a frame like a painting on the wall, I think we'd see the beauty then and stand staring in awe. (Conor Oberst) - iSOUGHT|THOUGHT

Cropping and Selection…
One may crop things like sound and vision, and other moments make selections in regard to editing experience…

The selections may bring things together as well as add to experience…

Cropping pulls things apart and takes away from the big picture but adds to the final product…

There are many techniques like overlaying, montage, and use of contrast…

One wonders how cropping and selection affects the memory, and also the different types of memory…

I think when you first think of the ideas brought up above, you tend to think of visual media, but it's important to think of the other media of sound, smell, taste and touch…

To apply the knowledge you have used to understand the above ideas it may be useful to think of an example. Perhaps go through a meditation first sense by sense, noticing what is happening through the meditation, and try and remember what your senses went through and try to spot where you have cropped, edited or selected certain media within that sense…

The purpose of exercising knowledge in this area may help you better understand things like thought, memory and perception…

Any ideas?
