And that is exactly what I'm suggesting we do. We people with morals have intelligence on our side and so we should use it. What better way to make people intelligent than to cause them to question their beliefs? I think these immoral people haven't given much thought to their personal beliefs and so to get them to think about them will in turn make them better people.

You believe the human race is inherently bad, I believe it is inherently good. I will question the beliefs of those that are unjust, of course I won't challenge the beliefs of a gang that's knifing a person but I'll fight battles I can win. All I ask is that we do what is in our power. If that's asking too much then humanity is doomed.

What is wrong with humanity anyway? I mean, what are you trying to revolt against?

--and for the record, as nice as it would be to pick up a woman walking alone at night, if she's doing the best thing for herself, she would refrain from taking a ride with any stranger, no matter how nice he seemed.

ChrisD, the human race is not necessarily bad nor good. They are as individuals, selfish. They want to survive. Still, they have empathy. They would not wish to survive at a cost to others, but are willing to do so if they perceive no other choice.

They are not yet willing to admit that effectually, in time, they are already dead. They want to be important because the intimacy of their experiences tells them that they are.

All beings want to continue. Unfortunately, they do not.
