The pain of Love

Blackened tears stream from a broken heart,
Stained by sorrowed love,
Vultures picking at molded flesh,
That once was a lovers dove,
Promises and future plans,
Lay scattered on the floor,
Like the shards of broken glass,
From the slamming of the door,
Love that's given and cast aside,
Leaves a heart in sorrowed pain,
Searching for a rythm,
Some kind of sensable rhyme,
But all you find are memories,
That hold you in their time.
Trapped in walls and lost in memories,
Of times that come before,
Searching through all the rooms,
Just looking for the door.
Is that love or just a dream,
Or thoughts of a dreaded beam,
The love that causes pain,
Is the love that plants my grain.
