Intelligence, Practicality, Maturity
these three traits stand out among those who excel in them. i believe true genius developes through the practice and balance of these three traits. unfortunately, what we often see is a large gap between the traits. a person who excels in one of the traits is often lacking severely in one or both of the other two traits. what is the cause for this? how do we change it - can we?

I think it's interesting that an administrator would start a thread on an interesting topic.

I think I'll host my own forum, and only have topics that I think are interesting.

Practicality is not in my opinion a quality of genius. Neither is maturity. But intelligence is (in most cases).

If you add Intelligence, Practicality, and Maturity together in some kind of balance, do you know what you'd get?.......................Simply put, you'd have common sense, and if you could master using all three in a balance you'd have a higher form of common sense......................which is all Genius really is.
Being a genius is not about solving really complex equations...a genius is someone who has the ability to simplify a problem, so that they can solve it. Over-complicating simple matters is the only thing that stops us all being geniuses!!!
