I don't want to change what you believe. Belief is a powerful thing. I remember while in The Navy as a drug and alcohol abuse advisory, for training, I was required to attend an AA meeting. Here I heard the testimony of one young man who says he found salvation from Alcohol from new age teachings - he found the power of the God within that each one of us have. Another young man disagreed and said he found salvation from Alcohol from Jesus Christ. Discovering he was a sinner and could only through the grace of God find salvation.
Both had been sober for some time, both believed in God, both however had different views as to how it occurred. My only conclusion is that God works with us according to how strongly we believe, not necessarily what we believe. It is not possible for us to know for sure, but never-the-less we believe, and it is counted as faith.
