HELP!! CONFUSING DREAM |
Can someone please help me explain this? Last night my family and I stayed at a nice hotel in south GA on the way back from Flordia. I go to sleep around 11, and its seems no less than 5 minutes after i've feel asleep this kids names goin through my head like someones saying it, i feel conscience and think its funny but it starts to get louder and louder until i feel my brain is goin to explode, i'm aware that i'm dreaming ands i try and stop it i try to yell move but my body is paralyzed, the screaming continues but with other names, and odd phrases i try 2 yell still move, finally i'm able to control myself and i sit up with a quick jump. I think about how strange that was but then just lay down and go back to sleep again within 10 minutes i was dreaming but still conscience, i knew i was dreaming and have read of OOB's so i knew i was asleep and tried to control my mind into leaving my body, and suddenly sumthings wrong and my hearts racing and i try to yell kick, move anything, but again my whole body is numbed. It seemed like 30 secs to a minute until i was finally back in control and suddenly sat up again. This happened another 2 or 3 times, when after one i was asleep for about 30 secconds i'm still conscience it seems like i'm in my head even able to picture myself at times and i can feel a spider on my arm crawling, but can't see it again just like every other time i can't move or scream for around a minute when i do i sit up and it startles my mom and i tell her about wats happening, she tells my to tell to try and go back to sleep, i do and it doesn't happen again, i just have a few normal dreams no fear. Someone please help explain this.

during the sleep cycle you do go through periods of being "paralyzed" and occassionally people wake up before the body comes out of this state. its not all that uncommon, and its also believed to be the cause of many people claiming to be abducted. waking up and not being able to move is a terrifying event.
