A poem:

God is not perfect,
niether is is inperfect

He is not just,
niether is he unjust

He is not kind and merciful,
nor is He cruel and heartless

He is not eternal and infinite,
nor is He mortal and finite

He is not 'something'
neither is he 'nothing

He is not a 'he'
pr a 'she'
or a 'it'

He is not being,
neither is he non-being

when you exculde all this from God,
thatis God

He is not present in us, we are present in him

Just thought judging by all the thread of God, I'd just share my views

I hate that word.

Like the poem...it's truth....lol...there's not He because the creator has no Gender...lol

Sorry if this is a stupid question, But i dont really understand what ytou mean byut he last line. Does the poem conclude that God does not exist?

I like the poem - it tells it like it is. But I don't like your avatar - I think I said that once before.

Poetry is a tricky thing, it isn't always what we think it is. Five years from now you'll read that poem and say wow, I didn't know that, and yet you're the one that wrote it. Happens to me all the time, course - I'm getting old and so is my memory.

Most people will dissagree with me, but what Angel of Death wrote is the word of God. You can't take it and cut it up and put all its meaning under a looking glass as factual and actual, it doesn't work that way. The word God is the inspired word.

I mean, why do people believe that ever since the last word was written in the bible that God stopped talking to us. Is God dead, or have we stopped listening?

I won't reply to this post, so don't quote me and expect an aswer. I said what I said and I won't say no more.

Chirssie, I meant that when you realize that God is not just-unjust, kind-cruel etc, that is God.
The best part I like which sums it all up is 'God is not something, niether is He nothing'. Try to think over this particualr line...
