why do we just go for 'whats best'????
In many arguments and discussions ive had with people, whether its an argument about socialism vs capitalism, or an argument about the certainty of science, or even an argument on the subject of god, people have always resorted to just saying things like, ' its that way cuase its the bet way,' or ,'its better like that than nothing' or, as Dumbteen put it ' its better to be unequaly rich than equaly poor'.

Why do people when unable to prove or argue there point anymore to brink of them having to admit there wrong (not that they are wrong just a saying) resort to the Utalitarian exuse in the subject. Maybe some people just dont like to argue or discuss there beliefs that far, but to just say that you want to think something is a certain way, just becuase you would rather not sit ther with nothing, It seems absurd to me but its probaly my nature or summit like that. Am I being completely unreasonable and should respect the fact that the other people have different perseptions of things OR does anyone agree with me....
