human condition

what is your view on the human condition within society?

I believe we are made to be on open African savanah...

We are shoved into a society very very detached from our genetic origin. But we can muddle through.

Feels like perpetual failure driven by progress.

The human condition within society?
Thats an all encompassing question indeed!
its sad really - we measure progress by technological strides for the most part. There is so much wrong in our society war, crime, homelessness poor health care, pollution consumer apathy, the gulf between rich and poor.... man this could be a long list so Ill stop here.
Sure there are some great things in our society but there is a long way to go - and to get there we need a whole new philosophy on how to live.

Greed is the single reason why the human species is becoming more and more destructive.

Human condition...I think that the way things are going right now, everybody's just motivated by greed, materialism and comformity. We strive to please people we hate and work for things we don't really want. Our view of success is measure in how many things we own: so we can show-off, how smart we are: so we can feel superior and our social status. We strive to be like everyone else and would act like dancing monkeys to be accepted. In short, our life would end up being futile, wasted and all in vain.

A German scholar once said, "Our society today is like the person who is thirsty and drinks salty water."

People are physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually thirsty but either do not quench their thirst or quench it with all the wrong things.

Question is, are we fulfilling our own thirsts and helping others do the same? Or are we being blind and ignorant of our needs and the needs of others?

730 says Fear is the downfall of man....not being all you can be, not having enough, not living enough, wanting enough. Fear is the only thing inside of man......The simplicity is all there but he chooses to complicate his thoughts......

P.S....If you think that Fear is just ONE part of it....then think of any other condition that man could fall under....after a while you would see that it all comes back to Fear!.....

But fear and greed are all not the harbingers of the human condition. There is something more- the conditions around us. We are not living in a perfect world. Competetion-striving the be a bit above our peers, in a dog-eat-dog world, no time to get away, living in the hustle bustle of cities takes its toll.

Really hope that a place like TRALALA exists...........I considering to take off to Scotland this summer.
