An old poem I wrote in 1979

JUST FOR ME

Gramps told me stories yesterday,
All in that very special way,
That only Gramps to boys can tell,
And though he told them very will,
Somehow I feel they're not quite true,
For in the way Grandfathers do,
With twice-told tales he'd amplify,
Though some might say they're all a lie,
I recall that Grandma said that he,
Might stretch the truth, but just for me.
