Poetry from kids

My son wrote some poetry for the Young Authors and I thought I would share some of them with all of you though he didn't win anything for them. He is an 8 yr. old 2nd grader.

Wild Tigers

Wild tigers hunt,
fast and mean,
in Tarzan's Jungle.


Tiger
hunter
black cat
big, mad
Cat.

Tigers are wild.
It tries to find dinner.
Go tigers, go!
Eat meat,
Roar!

Five Senses in the Jungle

A snake crawling
Elephants eeeek
Cooking fish
Gorilla meat is good
A warm fire.

i like that last one the most. he's definately got some serious potential... raising him well indeed
