Lasting Impressions

Life gone by and,
Ever lasting.
The sun is changing,
Shadows casting.

Now we know that,
Time is priceless.
Forever going,
Limits, sky less.

We lost so many,
Treasured chances,
So many friendships,
And romances.

But I know that,
I'll remember,
The time that we lived,
All together.

I will never forget,
The times we cried,
I will never regret,
We wished we died.
The humiliations.
I will never forget,
When I was glad,
I will never regret,
The times we had.
The lasting impressions.

Friendships broken,
Friendships mended,
Lines were being crossed,
Some rules bended.

Some things finished,
With a dark stain.
Sometimes I swear that,
I still feel pain.

But light shined on,
There were good times.
There were more treasures,
Then all the crimes.

I'll remember,
All that you gave.
These things in my mind,
I'll always save.

I will never forget,
Who you are,
I will never regret,
We got so far.
Our great destinations.

What I first thought,

What our time brought.

Time still goes on,
