all spirituality teaches the same basic stuff, but in different ways.Buddhism says that you and the universe are eseentially one, that you have to let go of your personality which you mistake for who u are, and realize the ultimate reality.

The hindu book vedas also teaches the same essence. It also says that you are much more than your personality, that there is a greater intelligence which is essentially you, that indiviuality is just an illusiion and everything is essentially the same.

Sufisim, the mystical branch of Islam, also says the says basic thing. It ures you to love God to such an extent, that you forget who you are, that you become one with Him(it does not refer to any religious God).

Even Chirtianity hints at such stuff, but people over look verse which they cannot understand.

I myself have become this 'ultimate reality' while meditating, but sadly while I was on a high, so it just became a experiance and memory when I became normal.

just remember-Buddah was not a Buddah; Christ was not a Christian. Yet they wee both holy. How and why? i'll let you figure the step beyond their external being.

yes, they had both become spiritualy enlightned, they had realized who they were.
