Sometimes I wonder why do we do what we do. I mean in everyday life. Why do we love? Is it really better to love and lose, that to never have love at all? Is the pain and suffering you will feel for the rest of your life be worth it? Who is really to say? Me? You? Some professor?


I just don't know why!

LOL

I often wonder things like that myself. The only thing that I can come up with, and before I met my b/f I could never answer this, anyways, yes the hurt and the pain is worth it. We have over come so many obstacles that it is unreal. We have hurt each other so many times while trying not to that for me there were a few times that I was ready to give up and end the relationship. But if you find something that is true and wholely you'll never give up because you know that you can overcome anything and in the end all that you went through will have been worth it!

i think that even though I am only 16 turning 17 that I still understand what you guys are saying and that I would rather not love at all then love someone and just not have their love at all because I am still suffering because of a broken heart and its been forever. And I always hear people saying well, at least you learned something or you had love but I actually wish I had never fallen in love with that person because all it brought to me afterwards was pain and hate.







So, yah

It is easier to not love and not have pain or animosity. But it is more wonderful to experience the pain and hurt with someone that will always be there for you (if they are true, devoted and love you). And LOVE can overcome anything!

I lived with pain, rejection, and hurt for so long I was finding myself turning away from any emotions......If you don't feel anything you can't get hurt......Well I'm lucky enough to have found someone who made me realize that that is no way to live.....even if you get hurt it is better to have loved and lost....I'm just lucky enough to have gotten him back for good.......and I'll never let him go......

Sorry guys...but if you aren't getting over it and moving on you may need help (can't help it, I am a counselor)

I have learned that life gives us many challenges and we can turn these into positives over time. We learn what we need to and move forward with new growth. People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

I have suffered greatly also...but it is a part of life we need to learn to deal with.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you
have expressed outwardly or inwardly.
They have come to
assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and
support, to aid you physically,
emotionally, or spiritually. They
may seem like a Godsend, and they are.

They are there for the reason
you need them to be. Then, without
any wrongdoing on your part or at an
inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something
to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk
away. Sometimes they act up or out
and force you to take a stand..
What we must realize is that our
need has been met, our desire
fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been
answered and it is now time to move on.





When people come into your life for a SEASON,
it is because your turn has come to share,
grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience
of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have
never done. They usually give
you an unbelievable amount of joy..
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season..





LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
those things you must build upon in order to have
a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person/people (any way);
and put what you have learned
to use in all other relationships and areas
of your life. It is said that love is
blind but friendship is clairvoyant..

I guess it is better to love and lose then never love at all. But i rather have it that you love, and never lose. Yet, the whole point of losing is to discover that you have the wrong person, but you spent so much time on them, just to lose it all. Yet a line that we all know and that I remember from hearing in a song from a Bond movie.

"There's no point in living if you can't feel alive."

Why do we try? because it expands our knowledge

Why do we love? because we want to be loved

Why do we live? because we were put here and we have to make the best of what we have

Why................? cuz!!

Why do we try? to achieve
Why do we love? those damn endorphins
Why do we live? because we are not dead

Why do we try? Because we want what we try for.
Why do we try again? because the Destiny's Child song says that that is what we should do.
Why do we fall in love? Because loving is the greatest felling god made, it just sucks when you love and know what it feels like, and then lose it. Because you love the high, and you want it more. (It is kinda like drugs, in a distant way)
Why do we live? Because that damn amoemba had to evolve. IT JUST COULDN'T LEAVE EVOLUTION ALONE.(just plaing)

If you think about it. Do you really hate your life, how it has been? You might hate those certain bad moments. But remember, that all the other times were good.

i have to disagree with DugBug. there are good moments, there bad moments, then there are the mediocre moments that neither make you whine nor smile.

No, I agree with you. I just typed it out wrong. I didn't really mean by all the other moments as in every second besides those. I mean like every moment in your life. (you know because moments are like the things you remeber, and you really don't remember the mediocre moments, you just remember that you have them). Sorry for saying it wrong.

The High in love goes away because after that infatuation period of 3 months or so, reality sets in and things mellow some. Then you have to work at the relationship more!
