Can electric toothbrush damage my gums? |
I have gum disease and i'm using Oral b electric toothbrush with a soft head. Can it damage my gums or make my gums recede even more?? or should i just go back using my soft toothbrush?

They do not really help your gums but they also don't make anything worse. But you can decide what kind of electrical toothrbush you use. I believe a few years ago there was a UK study that showed that rotation-oscillation brushes outperform manual brushing by a bit. Other electrical toothbrushed had no advantage over manual brushing.
