Haunting Pictures of Auschwitz Concentration Camps |
"Arbeit Macht Frei" - this German slogan was used on the entrance gates of a number of Nazi concentration camps. It translates to 'labour makes (you) free / work sets you free'. The following image is the main camp of Auschwitz I, which was the original base camp of the Auschwitz network of concentration camps.
