Laina Walker

I really like this girl. I think she's cool and it would be cool to hang out with her.

So many of you may know her already. I found her viral videos a few months ago and today I wanted to see it again so I looked it up, and what do you know, she had some new Q&A videos which made me laugh and smile.

So here's the low down.

Few months ago there was a:

And Laina submitted this video titled 'overly attached girlfriend' which, outside of the competition, made her video viral and turned her 'stalker girlfriend' face into a meme.

Because parodies of insecure, pseudo-psychopathic behaviour are so heart-warmingly entertaining, aren't they?

No, that's not why I find Laina Walker entertaining. I rarely come across females who seem to actually display creativity, which I see as a sign of intelligence.

In her lyrics Laina accurately pinpointed some of the negative behaviours some women display in relationships, and she did in it a humorous context, without seeming insecure herself and that is respectable. I may be wrong about her for I have never met her in person, but from what I've seen, she comes across as a likeable person.

It's also rare to find a female who comedifies such things using their own individual originality - it's usually males who do this and achieve success. Success meaning their attempt ends up actually being stimulating.

Could it not be seen as making light of the pain that girls/women cause in this regard?

I think it promotes the opposite - it emphasizes the unpleasantness of such behavior - and bringing attention to such undesirable traits, in a manner that does not condone it, can only be a good thing.

It's not surprising Laina has so many fans. I haven't put up her q&a videos - ones where she's not in character, but if you didn't start liking her from her overly attached videos, you will if you see her non-acting ones.

Anyway, loads of guys want to marry her and want her to be overly attached to them - I don't blame them. Here's one fan whose put himself out there with a 'I love Laina' parody video. It actually made me consider making a 'I want to be friends with Laina' parody myself

K, one thing, Laina's last name is not Walker, I have no idea where that started but with all the Laina hoopla someone must have made it up and spammed the net with it.

So here are the specific videos that made me like Laina:

I wanted to post those two videos before I went on express that I no longer have my head up my ass in regards to Laina - which means I no longer like her. Laina's reaction to spantonline (the youtube user who made the I Love Laina parody) was rather cold and there was something she said in one of her recent videos that really put me off - like showed me she's a judgmental/superficial person.

I still like watching some of her videos for entertainment, but without the desire to be friends with this person.

I actually really enjoyed her videos usually and had pretty much the same thoughts as you about her. I have not seen the video you mentioned where she showed a judgemental personality but I will look for it. Love it though that you posted the Overly Attached Girlfriend videos.
