Burning breast
The last few days I've been having this burning feeling in my left breast. This happened once before a few months ago but only for a few hours so I wasn't worried. Could this be breast cancer?
Although breast cancer can affect women of all ages, it is extremely unlikely that your symptom is breast cancer
quote: under 7% of all breast cancer cases occur in women under 40 years old
Is the burning feeling painful if you touch it? Are you on your period or is your period due soon?
I often experience breast tenderness in the week preceding my period. Though I wouldn't categorise that as a burning feeling, just soreness and a tight/stretched feeling.

Because the breast are made up of an intricate system of glandular tissue, which is surrounded by fatty tissue, certain diseases of the breast can cause a burning sensation. Some causes for burning in the breast include Mastitis, which is an infection occurring mostly in breastfeeding women; Neuropathy, which is nerve damage caused by uncontrolled diabetes or cancer drugs. Another serious cause is Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which is the rarest form of cancer but still should not be discounted. Seeing as you've been experiencing prolongued burning you should see your doctor right away because the sooner you find the cause, the sooner you find the cure.
