Hyperrealism by Ron Mueck

I did a google search for 'big heads' and I stumbled across this interesting scupture of a man's head laying in it's side by Ron Mueck - an Australian born artist based in London. I had never heard of this artist before, but it turns out he is rather well known.

I think I am drawn to detail. I really like sketches that are detailed and realistic and so I appreciate these sculptures for a similar reason - they are extremely realistic.
