New Promotions Forum

Captain Cynic has a new addition that will add another element to the site. We have a new 'Promotional' forum that is essentially a space created for placing promotional posts, also known as advertisements .

This new feature gives just about anyone – including you – the opportunity to advertise on Captain Cynic. There are guidelines and terms that ads have to follow so that CC is not inundated with spammy and unwanted content. Basically, almost anything that is related to one of our topical forums can be advertised.

To place promotional content in the Promotions section, you need to purchase credits, which are extremely cheap given the fact that your ad will be permanent. If you login and go to your User Center you will see a new sub-section called 'Promotional'. The little box there is the purchasing tool you will need to use if you ever decide you want to purchase credits for ads.

We want the Promotional forum to be more than just a place for ads – we want it to be resourceful just like the rest of CC. Where our users and visitors can gain from it by being introduced to things that may be stimulating, entertaining or positive somehow.
