Nah im totally on ur side. People dont seem to understand that Marijuana is less harmful than smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol. I don't even drink anymore, i just smoke weed occasionally and it is much better. (no hangovers)

I believe it should be legalized. Nearly half of the country has used said herb and/or is using said herb. The very fact that there are, what, sixteen states that have semi-legalized it alone leads one to the conclusion that it will, over time, be legalized for all. I say this because in some of these 16 states, it is very easy to cop a card. Almost too easy........

But, from what little I know of our government, they will not radically jump into anything. They will ease into granting this freedom over the years just like they did/do with invading our privacy/taking away certain other freedoms.

They do this because they do not want us to think too much about just how much control they DO have. Everything is eased into. Couple that with distractions galore, and we could almost give a f*ck less what's what haha.

The problem with legalisation is it is a slippery slope argument, once you legalise marijuana, many people will be asking for the legalisation of other drugs. However, if you were to legalise all drugs for recreation, think of the tax you could put on them, also a lot of gang crime would be diminished.

here in britain we are living through a period of prohibition. throughout british history there has always been groups of recreational drug users who medicate themselves with opiates, narcotics and my recreational favourite, WEED! matter of fact it is one of the reasons britain once had an empire - that and slavery. (not that i condone slavery).

hemp, cannabis, marijuana, call it what you want, but its good stuff and should be legalised, as so many of use the drug to relax and explore our thoughts and feelings it would be wrong to deny a normally law abiding citizen their own piece of happiness.

Aha good on u dead city streets. An example of what a prohibition can do is the London riots. Yh it was meant to be about that Police Officer, but i think alot of the chavs just wanted to let of steam in their anguish.
