Solitude gives birth to the original in us, to beauty unfamiliar and perilous- to poetry. But also, it gives birth to the opposite: to the perverse, the illicit, the absurd. - Thomas Mann

The Mundane Complaints Thread
Complain, whine your ass off, about the things that occur to you in everyday life, which you know don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but frustrate you enough to the point where bitching about it out aloud to air around you does not sufficiently satisfy the passion you feel in your frustration.

Pineapples. Fucking weird ass fruit. I've had to start eating pineapples, fresh ones, not the canned ones, to help me with a health issue. Anyway, I'm fed up. After weeks of buying quantities of three to four pineapples a week, giving myself the heads up that I will learn how to choose the right pineapples, know how long to let them ripen, etcetera etcetera, because I knew dog shit when it came to fucking pineapples except that they're yummy, I'm earnestly annoyed because they are such arcane fruits to me, well the ones that are sold here anyway - you see in Canada the pineapples you get here are obviously imported, but heck, after seeing neon yellow inside two of my recent pineapples, I have to seriously wonder, how long have these 1.99 a piece pineapples been sitting in transit and their behind the scenes storage to make them so weird and bad. I really think that 60% of the hordes of pineapples that they're selling at my grocer are bad - and they have tonnes of them waiting on the shelves.
