I just looked at the wall builders quite interesting, but I wasn't around there and then to know those people. I saw in the news recently that the founding fathers were mostly free masons.

I wont claim to know much on free masons but i dont believe that they have the same beliefs today as they did then. Like alot of religions and organizations.

Did you know that the health care bill will include abortions that are paid by all tax payers.
Did you know that there are many countries who are changing there reserve currency from the dollar to the euro. Which means the dollar is deflating. And if the dollar totally deflates every dollar you have and have in accounts will be worth nothing. They are proposing a new currency called the amero.

I live in england and the pound now is so weak that its nearly equal in value to the euro. Just recently the lisbon treaty, I think, has made it through, transforming the EU more towards like the USA with Tony blair being the first president.

Yes, I aw that same program which seem to imply a connection back to the crusades. basically though I think that the majority of the founding fathers were prosperous traders, either craftmaen (building trades) or merchants . . . No Taxation without Representation!

Most of the founding fathers were Deists, not Christians. They may have attended church but that doesn't make them Christians. Einstein has been labeled Jewish because he was raised Jewish and believed in god however all his theory papers says he believed in a non-interventional god and that the Jewish doctrine of beliefs were not the words on god. Meaning he wasn't Jewish in a practicing sense.

The words "in god we trust" we not placed on currency when this country was founded but rather years later and even then the term "in god we trust" wasn't meant to be blind ignorance like the sight you gave would lead one to believe. The term is "in god we trust" not "in god we give our lives to".

This country was NOT founded on Christianity. It was founded on Christian ideas and morals. And if anything, Christianity has been MORE incorporated into the government than when the country was first founded. Mixing religion and Government is just one more step toward Socialism. So i say to hell with "In God We Trust" and "One nation under God". You can keep your slogans and mottos. I agree whole-heartedly with Christian morals(10 Commandments and such), but that is only because it has everyone's best interests in mind. Not because it has ANYTHING to do with Christianity.

These are some great arguments in regards to the founding of our nation. Perhaps however, the founding fathers designed our government to be able to adapt and transform into a more perfect government.

We most certainly haven't stagnated in comparison with other nation's government when you consider what's changed out of necessity as well as a possible idea of being better; such as the elastic clause.

History has shown, anything that doesn't adapt, simply dies. Happens in nature, happens in wars, happens in just about everything we understand. What I'm stating is that, whatever our founding fathers built this country off of, whatever ideas or religion that swayed viewpoints, perspectives and writings, we have been a very powerful country for a great deal of time. This was not because of the foundation, but what was built, changed, and rebuilt on that foundation.

I always thought they were businessmen who knew they could make money off of settling in the New World because of all the resources and the ability to exploit those who came for new opportunities.
