Vidmail...

With Skype and video calls on mobiles, I believe a natural step forward may be video messaging... This could be by email or by phone, or an amalgamated service combining both.

With extra features like edits to put maps, pictures, or other text or graphics to accompany the spoken message, more could be done with a message service.

I think we're ready for such a service, and imagine it's probably not far away.

Any idea whether this has been marketed in this form? (Am aware it is possible to send videos by email or by phone already, but more is anyone heavily pushing this technology/idea?) Or, any other thoughts?
