what is a terrorist,
an exploration into the dictionarys deffinition of terrorism |
ter·ror·ism (tr-rzm) n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- terrorism Noun the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve political ends terrorist nadj ----------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- terrorism 1. a method of government or of resisting government involving domination or coercion by various forms of intimidation, as bombing or kidnapping. 2. the state of fear and terror so produced. - terrorist, n., adj. - terroristic, adj. if the media knew this proper definition of terrorism they would be alot less exclusive in their use of the word. terrorism is a word that defines some of the activitys of corperations military governments, media and many organizations of all sorts. now it would be really unfair to say that the muslims started terrorism because terrorism has existed in some form in every society on the globe. So the Global War on terror should be realy quite brutal when you think about it. seeing as though the people who are supposed to be fighting terrorism are guilty of terrorism then all the terrorists should just kill themselves and be done with it. I am sick and tired of our culture constantly raping our own language with reckless abandon.

Ah, yes I know what ya mean! I wonder during the late1700, Countries (monarchies) like France, England & the United States revolted against tyranny seeking the rights (God Given) to individuals. What did they think they were fighting to form? To form another world dominating power like the Roman Empire? Where rights of life were something you bought or paid for by service, therefore you have as much right as you can afford? Of course as we have seen some corporations have grown to greater proportion than some countries therefore corporations have greater rights than those countries . . . government ran by corporation or as a corporation? Would seem the rights of the individual took second to the rights of "big business" interest.
