Underworld: Rise of the Lycans |
This movie was flippin amazing. Almost as good as the first, but better than the second. I didn't like that Kate Beckinsale didn't play in it, but, of course, I understand why. The part of Lucian was played extremely well. Makes me want to see the first two movies again. The action was intense, and even the sex-scene was freakin cool.

Really now, if you want to see some good cinematography watch apocalypse now, blade runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, or Triumph of the Will.

I thought this movie was outright wonderful. While it clung to it's action flick roots in all the right ways, it still had enough plot, politics and back story to satisfy, and leave the imagination wandering. Well crafted and seamless side-plots leave the door open for an entire world to come of this single movie. I would put this on par with the original star wars in terms of its capacity to spawn a universe.
