Lmao, they're very few pro-Obama on this site, they're people who are anti corrupt republicans and anti modern government but from what I know of the people here that are American, they're only 2 of us who voted for him. P.s. mutnuaq you still could have voted for Ron Paul if I remember correctly he did run for the libertarian party.

Sorry kid, it wasn't meant to be spite full, I just found it funny because I had the opposite impression when I joined this site (I found it it very pro-conservative) and I wasn't sure what party Ron Paul actually ran for but I'm 95% sure I saw him on the Michigan ballet so my guess is independent (but just guessing). Me I voted for Obama because I'm socialist and the closest thing that you'll ever get elected in this country to a socialist is a extremely liberal democrat. At least this day and age. I find that he's more manipulative then the most politicians these days and that scares me a lot. Although the reputation he carries in Washington as an extremely liberal senator that votes the same on the large issues made me more willing to vote for him.

The only reason I allowed myself to push for Ron Paul to the degree I did based on my sense of trust, is because I had decades of information available on Paul's track record in which to compare to his words. No such luxury was allowed with Obama, and, the system that so blatantly destroyed an actual explosive and nearly unstoppable grass roots revolution based, not on Paul, but his message, and again, track record, embraced Obama to a degree, on both sides in many cases, that gave further rise to concern and allowed no freedom to entertain associating unsubstantiated trust in a man whose words I had could only hope were sincere. And interestingly enough, the best thing Obama had going for him, in my view, were indeed some of his radical associations, for those are people expressing knowledge and concern for corruption and conspiracy from posistions of power. Not that I agree with every stance or action taken by said parties of course. I hoped, and still do, that perhaps, like Decius mentioned, if we were lucky he was out to play the game just long enough to break the cycle and bring some real change. But, as time goes on and more information comes to light, hopefully the blinding light of hope will give way to some honest reflection on this man and his intentions and seperate what we hope and feel from what is and is perhaps in need of being addressed. Already more has surfaced, all in varying degrees of uncertainty from my end on either side of the debates for or against them. From being related to Dick Cheney to questionable circumstances surrounding Michelle's profittable activities, this ride won't be stopping soon and untill more concrete should likely not be the concentrated on factor in judging Obama or his Presidencial directions. Just as his words should not be, as should be the case with respect to any politician. The easiest and most obvious way to gadge his intentions is through his cabinet selection and political and personal associations. By this point, it has become painfully obvious that we are embarking on the next Clinton administration, literally if Hillary indeed ends up as Sec. State. But so far, Clintonians, CFR, and Zionists galore appear to take up most of the seats, as well as being the most prominent as well as the most troubling that I have come across. Keeping Defense Sec. Gates should be an obvious red flag as well. And for me, of course, I have to take into account the seemingly undeniable fact, unfortunately, that the Presidential election is as rigged as both sides continually claim it to be, just never about their own party, as it has been likely since the beginning and therefore I find myself unable to put any unquestionable stock in any successfully elected candidate. And trust me, I would have been watching Dr. Paul like a hawk as well had that gone that way. But if we just put trust in stated posistions, even those backed by some form of official record, without accounting for intentional and both hidden and open manipulation by sources of power and influence, then we have already lost and all of this is truly pointless. For we cannot survive if we continue to exclude this true third party of our political system
