There is a flower that stands alone. Battered and weary from its travels, it's struggles and accomplishments are shown only in scares. It will never know true friendship because it is lost in a sea of pavement.

In the silence , I can free my mind at night.....

Smoke and sunshine fill the room
The songs of death cab carry through the thick air
The smoke dances and tells it's tale before it fades away
Through the blinds comes the suns warm embrace
It is here where I find a love that is true

Listening to planets and stars... Staring at the black empty space... Lying on my back in a field away from all distraction ... I can feel the wind in my face... Thinking of a place I can go, dreaming of a peaceful escape..

Have not been to this place in awhile, maybe it's because I have not had a thought that's worthwhile, Been watching the pavement crumble beneath my feet, I have been on a retreat, I've come to speak my mind, I am tired of blind leading the blind. I am sick of a world full of promises and words full of lies...

Punishing a nation's youth, not willing to tell them the truth, not wiling to tell them the money is all gone, that their scholarships have been withdrawn, lets cut education, take away their foundation, let this nation crumble, then maybe our youth will be humble
