Worst hours.

I'm working 3pm-11pm now. Brutalllll.... ;_;
Standing the entire time at a machine assembling or packaging car parts..

what the worst hours you've ever worked? what did you do?

When I was Just married I got a job as a daily Nanny and the hours were 7.30am - 6pm with an hour to cycle there and back - so I was getting up at 6am to leave for 6.30, cycling for an hour (which in the rain was a real pain in the arse) and the parents never got home on time, so I was invariably getting home at 7.30 - 8pm every evening (after cycling again for an hour) and then cooking dinner and doing housework! That was a pig of a job.

Get to sleep in, stay up late, I would like that shift.

yeahh,you're right. I wouldn't mind it all that much if I was single :'( but my girlfriend hatessssss it because we have next to no time together now except for the weekends.

Eons ago I worked Saturday shifts 8am-8pm with a half hour lunch. Lmfao terrible, I don't know what compelled me. Luckily I had enough sense to stop before it drove me to insanity.

nopee, she just has classes that just so happen to run into the time that I have to go to work. so mostly a bad thing ^_^;

XD!!!! I lucked out and get three breaks: 10min-20minlunch-10min

Arent you required to have a 30 min lunch break? Here in Canada it is a min for a 8 hour shift. When you work longer that that you are entitled to more.

Oh yea, I think I was also allotted a 10-15min break, but I didn't always use it. I was actually working a triple shift(4hrs each). Saturday's were weird so they got away with screwing us over, but it was my own choice to schedule myself like that.

I think since I have 3 breaks instead of one they cut the lunch break by 10 minutes.. It's ok though, it's plenty of time for me to eat.

my shift right now kind of sucks too and the job does, but it's the only job that has flexible enough hours for me to juggle school, a one year old, and work. i work at mcdonald's so i start work at usually 4 p.m and work until close which is 12 a.m and by the time we're done cleaning up it's around 12:30-1 in the morning. i agree with u the night shift sucks.
