speeding ticket |
i got a speeding ticket the other day. i was on the tollway at about 3:30am and the cop clocked me at 87mph, and the tollway is a 55mph zone. thus i was 32mph over the speed limit. i have a court date and i'm kinda looking to keep this from my parents to avoid untold amounts of stress. i was wondering if anyone knew how i should handle the situation. this is my first moving violation, other than this i've only gotten parking tickets. anyone know what the consequences could be? i live in illinois by the way.
