Biotech Work Crush |
I'm sure you guys get this type of post all of the time but I am really stuck in a rut here. I am 22 years old and am in a temp to perm position at a biotech company that I really like but probably won't stay there long. Anyways, there is a guy that I work with who is 23 years old and I am absolutely infatuated with him. In no way am I in love with him nor do I even expect something to happen between us, but I still really like him and would like to see or determine if he likes me back. Some details? - Well he is relatively quiet when around me, but we poke fun at each other alot of the time. - If it is just me and him then we talk freely about our lives and whatnot but since we are in different departments that doesn't happen too often. - I've seen him around the other guys our age and he is definitely more comfortable with them, but not to say that he is UNcomfortable around me - He always makes a note to say hi or bye to me and when he says goodnight or good morning he always says my name. - There's something about the way he looks at me. He looks me straight in the eye with this really deep stare, and since his eyes are this amazing color blue it really takes my breath away... So advice on how I can try and read this guy? Can I trick him into giving me some info on whether he is somewhat into me or not?

Do you ever see him outside of work? if not try getting to see him socially, mayb with any mutual friends you have at first (a group of just you friends and you have the likelihood that they will make it clear why he's out with them) see how he acts around you in a more casual environment. Also give him some indication that you like him (not full on i want you i need you kinda thing, but people tend to react better to those who obviously enjoy their company).
