Code problems

My uni course covers some programming using pascal, and the program that we are using to do it is Delphi 7. A friend of mine gave me delphi 7 second edition, and i emailed my .dpr file from the university to my home computer so that i could try and improve upon the stuff i did in my computing labs, however when i try and compile the code i wrote in the computing lab, i get runtime errors. has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem could be??
