I've heard Christian and Muslim storytellers and they are just as convincing, which makes me wonder if there is any difference between the major religions and the one in this video.

Exactly Attolia. This is juxtaposing the power of propaganda used in religions to brainwash people into believing in the illogical supernatural. The video is read out from booklet for children published by Madalyn Murray O'Hair entitled "Did You Know All the Gods Came from the Same Place?" (The Land of Make Believe Inside Your Head)
It really shows that many if not most struggle to live as rational beings.

No, I meant that there's no difference between this book used to disprove God's existence and the other Christian stories used to prove God's existence. They're on the same boat. They use the same means. They sound the same. Why should a child believe one or the other?

Indeed. There is no rational logical reason why children nor anyone for that matter should believe in the existance of god. It is a juxtaposition of the symbolic beliefs of dogmatised religions. Its reflecting on the illogical brainwashing that so many people experience. It is providing the 'should be obvious' rationale of how the ideology of 'God' is simply a made up, superstitious human construction.
