Aren't Drills supposed to make you Safer?

Three months prior to the Foot-and-Mouth Disease outbreak in the UK, the US held Foot-and-Mouth Disease simulations in Texas. I have been told by Paula McCann, a Producer for an overnight BBC radio show, called "Up All Night," that the UK had also held Foot-and-Mouth Disease Simulations just prior to the actual outbreak.

Britain's bird flu scare that officials are now warning could spread to other areas of Scotland coincided with an exercise that drilled a response to an avian flu outbreak. The drill included the involvement of Downing Street and the Ministry of Defence.

The BBC reports that the exercise was cancelled as soon as the discovery of the H5 virus in the dead swan in Fife was made.

A consultancy agency with government and police connections was running an exercise for an unnamed company that revolved around the London Underground being bombed at the exact same times and locations as happened in real life on the morning of July 7th.

On a BBC Radio 5 interview that aired on the evening of the 7th, the host interviewed Peter Power, Managing Director of Visor Consultants, which bills itself as a 'crisis management' advice company, better known to you and I as a PR firm.

Peter Power was a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti Terrorist Branch.

Power told the host that at the exact same time that the London bombings were taking place, his company was running a 1,000 person strong exercise which drilled the London Underground being bombed at the exact same locations, at the exact same times, as happened in real life.

The only way to catch the bird flu is to have prolonged, direct contact with a sick bird, and further, should a chicken die of the flu. You can cook that bird and eat it and be safe as long as you cook it at a high enough temperture. Getting the bird flu does not mean you will die and it is very difficult for another human to catch it from you. The fear is in the mutation which is only theory and so far it doesn't look like it is coming true. Thousands of innocent birds have been sacrificed for nothing. Global warming is a fact while the bird flue mutating is still only fiction, but Washington still has not figured that out. They come for my chickens and we're going to fight. What this is really about is profits for global pharma. Until there are profits in stopping global warming, many countries will deny the threat even exists. Canada Aultralia and others seem to be following suit. However many state governments are taking action. Here in Oklahoma, my household electricity comes from wind power.

We know that our government knew that the attack on 9/11 was coming and they did nothing.
