I personally think the best way to prevent terrorists taking over planes would be to make it manditory for every passenger to bring a pistol on board, so that they at least have a means of fighting back.

Ok, that was just a joke, but seriously--does anyone else see a problem with locking the cockpit doors? If anything, I think it would be best to REMOVE the locks altogether. Think about it. If a cockpit door is locked, what's to stop a bunch of terrorists from killing off passenger after passenger until the pilots give in and unlock the door? Then when the terrorists get in they can lock it, and, as was the case with that one plane that crashed into the ground on 911, the passengers won't be able to storm the cockpit in time.

This just seems really stupid to me.
