Its so unreasonable to proclaim one emotion as a basis for all others, because emotions play off of other emotions. Take into account that there are millions of feelings one can observe. If you try to balance them generally on a sadness or happiness scale you will find that there are just some emotions that fall far and inbetween.

I miss my psychology class. I used to think I knew everything about my emotions before I took it.

yes a spectrum if u will... it is like a big circle if u have ever taken a psy. class then u would understand better

like bordum is an emotion is it not.. that doesnt have a thing to do with sadness

Apathy is quite strong if you ask me.
It is an overwhelming feeling of purposeless or despair.
It can motivate people to do things they wouldn't usually do.
A long-term apathetic oriented life-style can effect anyone I think.
Apathy can be a lack of interest in anything and everything and that is indeed something.

Boredom is most definitely linked with sadness "for me".
Boredom for me can cause depression, apathy, and sadness.
Like I always say though, keep in mind this is all a matter of opinion.

y to think so much on emotions we r made of emotions so just accept urself n continue without any hesitation to live with ur emotions n enjoy life if u feel sad show ur sadness to others n if u feel happy share it with others n live life happily

I completely diagree. If this was so then you could say show your hate, and anger to everyone else. And there are times when it is neccesary to not show what you are feeling, this is simply called self control.
