That is a very good point and I wholeheartedly agree, however, matter and energy are two seperate items to our perseption, and we can only use our perseption to truly justify anything, especially concerning any issue about God.

how do you think they are different?

Matter and energy are used for different purposes, albiet really for the same but we think we use them differently. We use energy, like electricity, and moves matter, like rocks.

the names alone show we think of them differently, matter and eneregy, we have placed them into mutually exclusive catagories.

it all comes down to perseption.

they aren't. plain and simple. in math the word is, is the same as the symble =.

I do not think i am making myself clear, for this i apoligize, let me explain my case this way.

Energy is a more elusive concept. Formally, it is defined as the ability (or capacity) to do work Work is the product of force and distance. When you are walking up the Hill, you are doing work by applying muscles (force) to move up the Hill (distance). Energy is what you and all living things use to move matter around and to change matter from one form to another. Energy is used to grow your food, to keep you alive (metabolism), to move you from one place to another, and to warm and cool the buildings in which you work and live. The uses and transformations of matter and energy are governed by certain scientific laws, which unlike the laws people enact, cannot be broken.

but energy is created by the mass it is moving, which is why they are one and the same... i think

if you were all powerful you would not exsist
