Eating Disorders

I just wanted to ask others opinions about eating disorders. It is said that about 1 in every 100 girls is anorexic, 1 in 90 is bulimic and 1 in 7 suffers from disordered thoughts about food intake. Do you think these numbers are valid? I believe that more girls have eating problems than what meets the eyes. Eating disorders are secretive. Those will hide it as well as possible. The media is only going to increase these numbers too i think. Take a look at fashion shows,actresses,and musicians. No matter how many times we say, eating disorders are bad!, the more girls curiosities are sparked and they learn to hear around the good advice.
