How do I set an Avatar? I hate not having my own little picture to show.

If you go to User Center that is at the top of the page you will find where you can put in 4 pics. Once you have selected your pic(s) and they have been approved you can choose from the pic(s) that you put in as to which one you want to show up on the left with your name!!!

USER CENTRE is just under the 'sell it' button at the very top-
I am wondering as well why do avatars need to be approved? Previously this was the only way to post any sort of image but now that any image can be so readily posted- instantly is this practice perhaps dated?
