The quoting of an aphorism, like the angry barking of a dog or the smell of overcooked broccoli, rarely indicates that something helpful is about to happen. - Lemony Snicket

Nation feels helpless/hopeless
Intellectual and MIT professor Noam Chomsky made a reference to a poll of the nations feeling of helplessness that he says shows record high over the past few years.

In an inteview he and Alex Jones talked about how people know something is wrong, like animals running from something we are running into escapism, drowning our fears and even our strengths in lies, and entertainment which is saturated with propaganda. (basically perpetuating the cycle while constantly increasing)

We aren't helpless, we just have to stop accepting people lying to us. That behavior doesn't lead to leaders helping, it leads to people abusing power, its not like its a secret, its why our constitution was designed as it was.

Don't you understand that, our constitution was designed to free us from tyranny, and prevent it, and that is what is being changed, not just things that are going to help us, there is some of that too, but mainly its thousands of pages of ways to bypass our freedoms and rights.

And it is not legal, you know you haven't read what is in the Patriot Acts, people who have tend to say its taking our rights and not for good reason. Thats all I'm trying to tell you, they just aren't being listened too because the media is owned by 6 companies, thats it, and they all have related interests that are different than the average citizen.

The thing that worries me, is that ya, people know something is wrong, but they are not going to worry about it untill its too late.

If you have UN troops hearding you into a camp, its too late. But that is the sign you are waiting for. When you get told you are going to be taxed for all vehicle road time, and are going to work in slave labor camps under gun point, then you know its too late.

I don't see how that leaves you with an option to wait and find out.
