I noticed that people here dont really use the chat room very often. There's never anybody on when I check. I was wondering if there was anybody that uses it often?

the chat page dosen't load for me.
it does try to at first, but then loads a blank page w/ the number 2 in the top left margin.

A blank page or a pure white screen? Maybe its telling you that you are 2 white, get some sun man! And if you don't happen to be white, maybe you are about to have an encounter with 2 whites

oh shit, i set myself up for that... but i have to correct myself. page loads chat for first second or two, shifts to a blank white page with a number 1 in the top left corner, never finishes loading...

D, is there a way to set it up so a person can be in the chat room and still be able to float around UGN?

When I first atarted coming here I spoke with Wyote But it was acting weird... I could see what he was writing, and he could see both of our comments.... but on my screen it looked like he was talking to himself. i couldnt see anything I wrote.

Just went on now... Bob Yow and decius are on and I typed and nothing showed up. And it keeps click-click-clicking

not sure if this will help anyone... but the clicking sound was driving me crazy when the page refreshes... so if anyone else has this problem try this:
Start --> Control Panel --> Sound, Speech and Audio Devices --> Change Sound Scheme
then scroll down until you see "Windows Explorer" and select "Start Navigation" then unders "sounds" select "none"
hope this helps anyone else that is bothered... i know i cant be the only one...
